Windows Media Player Plus! is a free plug-in for Windows Media Player that adds various user interface and playback enhancements. It is made for Windows Media Player 11 & higher.

Features:

Tag Editor Plus: an alternative for Windows Media Player's Advanced Tag Editor (screenshot). Tag Editor Plus works on Windows Media Player 12 too, where the original Advanced Tag Editor has been removed.
Global hotkeys, allowing you to control Windows Media Player from within any running application.

Windows7 machine as Wireless hotspot - Connectify Pro

With this method you will only need an internal/external wireless network card on your Notebook or PC with Windows 7 and not require any additional devices. However the signal coverage will not be strong as the real hotspot - Access point.

The Connectify application will turn your Windows 7 laptop into a WiFi Hotspot to share the Internet with friends, co-workers, and mobile devices. Connectify is running in the Notification Tray next to the system clock. It might not be visible, because Windows 7 has cleaned up the Notification Tray to hide the icons that you don't frequently use. If you click on the small white triangle it will show all of the icons, including the Connectify radio wave icon.

When it is run in "Access Point" mode, Connectify is a real WiFi Access Point running on your computer. Any device that can connect to a regular access point, can connect to a Connectify Hotspot, with no special setup or software required.
